Despite the fact most of this stuff is Topshop/Miss Selfridge which is a little lazy- this is genuinely everything that I want right now! I think this is probably my favourite wishlist so far because I genuinely want everything on it! So, wheres it all from?
Just a quick update to let you know I’m still here! I’ve been literally so busy these past two weeks with family things then a minor surgery that i’ve been neglecting posting when I have loads to write about and show you all. I’ll be trying my best to get back on form from tomorrow and doing my regular postings – apologies that there was no weekend wishlist last weekend or mid-week musings, I’ve been away from my computer a lot and therefore practically useless (I have an ancient macbook from around 2004 and it’s heavier than a bag of bricks so I hate carting it around!) so hopefully I’ll catch up pretty quickly and get things back on track! Thank you for all being so patient x

I wish i’d seen this earlier myself (and at one point I put a pair of the lilac creepers in my basket but quickly took them out because I just bought the dr martens in a similar colour – I have to pace myself with this new found obsession with clumpy footwear!) but there’s 25% off for students with a valid NUS card until tomorrow night (Friday 23rd) – hurry hurry if you don’t want to miss those bargains!
Dr Martens 3 Eye Lace up Grey Floral – Office £80
Second new shoes post in a week I know… and an absence of ‘mid-week musings’ but i’ve been busy all week with university stuff and wishing I was Marina and the Diamonds ( have you seen the video for Primadonna? Why can’t I be you Marina! Why!?), it feels ike these last few weeks at university before the end of year one are going to be never-ending! I have no idea how I’m going to cope, but i’ll be doing it in these shoes.. Serious looooove for them and I had to get them in a size down so they are a teeeeny tiny size 4 too – lovely.
Shirt – Primark £10
Last week I was in Zara when I spotted this blouse with it’s adorable little collar tips which I thought were so cute! I tried it on though and I felt sort of like an italian gangster because it’s also inconveniently silk which would have proved a nightmare to wash in halls of residence washing machines. I also couldn’t justify the £39.99 price tag and am now so happy I didn’t buy it! However, I was out scouting for something new today and I came across this shirt in Primark Oxford Street (which isn’t that bad if you go in the right time.) Unfortunately it was one on it’s own and seemed as though someone had picked it up and abandoned it, it’s also a size 12 which I wasn’t too happy about but seeing as though I couldn’t find any more I accepted that it might fit me anyway and for the price, I might as well buy. I got it home and am so happy with it! It’s a little big around the arms but the length is nice and the fit isn’t bad at all – success and all for a 1/4 of the price that I was originally planning to pay at Zara!
However, I have come to realise these little collar tips are available to buy on eBay and would definitely jazz-up some old shirts I have.. well worth an investment! Also, while I was feeling thrifty I also discovered you can buy things like elbow patches… I think i’m going to do some purchasing and sewing in the next few weeks – I’ll keep you updated!
Shoes – H&M £19.99
I spent all weekend looking for these in various H&M’s across Nottingham and Sheffield and finally found them in Meadowhall, I just had to buy them. I can’t walk in conventional heels (I look like Bambi on ice!) so these wedge/shoes are perfect for adding a bit of a heel for going out at night. They come in black & mole these are perfect for anyone else that has the same problem as me -definitely my new favourites!
Glossybox is only avaliable from the Glossybox website and is £12.95 a month including P+P
So I finally signed up! I’ve been wanting to for soooo long I just haven’t found the time with juggling with other things, but I did and I’m so happy, it’s like receiving a present! For those of you that don’t know, Glossybox is a monthly box delivered to your house with 5 miniature beauty products inside it which could be any random combination. However, when you sign up they do ask a few simple questions that tailor the box so that it suits you better such as your skin tone and what type of skin you have, as well as asking what you would be interested in -what could be better?
So do you want to know what I got in my Glossybox this month? Well…
This week’s wishlist is all about pastels and things that are perrrfect for spring as it’s well and truly upon us now! The weather in London has been incredible over the past week or two, a perfect blend of sunny almost hot days and then cooler evenings so I compiled a wishlist that’s perfect for the spring to summer transition that’s only weeks away…
So i’m at home as I speak right now for family reasons, but it’s pretty relaxing and i’m quite glad to be here all things considered lately (it means lots of food and baths and cuddles from my dog yayyy) but it means all my posts for the next few days are going to be queued so watch out! There will still be a wishlist as usual though, I made sure to make it before I left.
Alas, there are about 1000 things on my wishlist right now, I need a way of making some serious £££ and fast… if you have any suggestions PLEASE let me know! I’d be super gateful!
Shirt – Topshop (I can’t find a link, it’s a basic white shirt)
Skirt – Sparkle & Fade at Urban Outfitters
Necklace – Wavy Jewellery
Fur Jacket- Vintage/Etsy
So basically this is what I wore today, a simple white shirt (which in fairness could use an iron!) and my new velvet pencil/midi skirt. I wasn’t sure about it at first but I have decided I love it! I threw on my vintage fur coat for some warmth as today hasn’t been the brightest, topped off with my new necklace and earrings from Wavy!
